Catamaran Tour Manuel Antonio

The Catamaran tour is a fantastic adventure in the sea of Manuel Antonio. The boat navigates all the way from Quepos to an area known as Peninsula Punta Quepos and also travels through the protected areas of Manuel Antonio National Park. The catamaran boat is super stable and has all the appropriate equipment to ensure you to have the best possible ocean adventure. The catamaran is equipped with a highly well trained boat crew, delicious snacks, drinks, lunch, snorkeling equipment and water slides for total fun.

The tour is approximately 4 hours, the places where we visit are the islands located in the protected areas of the Manuel Antonio Park, coral reefs and strategic rocky areas for enjoying a memorable snorkeling experience.

The tour departs from La Marina Pez Vela at Quepos and navigates to the protected territories of the Manuel Antonio National Park. Along the trip we will be able to see the impressive islands created naturally by volcanic rock.

Also, we might observe a large number of pelagic birds nesting on these islands. During the tour we would be able to observe sea turtles, dolphins, and if we are lucky you will also be able to see whales.

Whale seasons occur during January and February as the first period of the year. And July, August, September, October and November as the most important period for whale watching in Costa Rica. The whales come with their beautiful young and usually stay on the coast of Costa Rica for several months for feeding properly their young, and then continue their migration journey to the territories near Antarctica in South America.

The morning tour usually takes less people. Therefore, we recommend you to book the morning tour for enjoying a better experience.
